The Ministry of Defence stated that three hostile drones that breached UAE airspace were shot down on Wednesday. Officials claimed late Wednesday night that the interception occurred “away from populated areas” and at daybreak. The Ministry of Defense emphasised its “complete readiness to deal with any threats.” It went on to say that it will “take all necessary precautions to defend the UAE from any assault.”
The intended strike occurred on the same day that the United States said it would send fighter planes and a warship to the Emirates in response to previous Houthi attacks. Fifth-generation aircraft and the USS Cole, according to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, will contribute to combating the danger posed by Iran-backed Yemeni rebels. Mr Austin stated that the USS Cole will join the UAE Navy at sea before arriving in Abu Dhabi.
