Passion For Jamaican Flavours

Hailing from Jamaica, Chef Tomlin’s love for food started in his grandmother’s kitchen. Over the years, he has honed his skills, blending authentic Jamaican flavours with international influences. His goal? To take guests on a true Caribbean journey through food. Constantly innovating, he brings exciting updates to the menu while staying true to the restaurant’s roots.

Little Tings

Now let’s talk about the fun stuff – what’s on the table? The appetisers, or “Little Tings,” have been given a flavourful upgrade. Ting Irie’s much-loved Jamaican Patties now come in fresh varieties, including Cheezy Beef, Coconut Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Oxtail, Ackee and Saltfish, Curry Goat, and Stewed Peas. Another exciting addition is Tostones – crispy smashed plantains – served with delectable toppings like Oxtail, Shrimp, and Curried Chickpea Doubles (flatbread with curried chickpeas).

Breadie Tings

Looking for something lighter? Chef Tomlin has introduced a new lineup of salads and bread-based delights. The Rasta Salad is a colourful mix of roasted pumpkin, beetroot, quinoa, baby spinach, feta, and pine nuts, with a choice of Dijon lemon oil or honey soy dressing. The Jerk Chicken Salad combines juicy jerk chicken with avocado, black beans, edamame, corn, and a zesty dressing, while the Oxtail Salad features tender oxtail chunks with shiitake mushrooms and mixed greens drizzled in a rich reduction. The “Breadie Tings” section now includes Doubles Bunz (curried chickpeas in soft cocobuns) and Caribbean Falafel Bunz, featuring Caribbean-style falafel with tahini, tomato, onions, and coriander in a fluffy cocobun.

Big Tings

The new “Big Tings” selection brings comforting, flavour-packed dishes to the table. Meat lovers can dig into Stew Beef and Curry Chicken, both cooked with bone-in meat, carrots, and potatoes, served with fragrant coconut rice. Seafood fans will enjoy the Curry Shrimp—juicy, shell-less shrimp in a rich island curry. For a vegetarian twist, the Three Beans Stew, made with white and red kidney beans and chickpeas, is slow-cooked in island spices and served with coconut rice. Roti lovers can also try the Curry Doubles, featuring curried chickpeas with coconut rice.

Sweet Tings

Me and Ting Irie speak the same language, because even they know no meal is complete without something sweet. And when I say Chef Tomlin’s new dessert menu does not disappoint, I mean it. I’m talking, Granny’s Pudding, a signature sweet potato pudding, is a must-try. The Cheesecake Mon blends key lime and coconut flavors for a tropical twist, while the Plantain Tarts – featuring a shortcrust pastry filled with either cinnamon plantain or dark chocolate plantain – are served with creamy vanilla ice cream. If you got a sweet tooth, consider it satisfied when you’re at Ting Irie.

Come Hungry & Leave Full

Ting Irie has long been known as the go-to spot in Dubai for authentic Jamaican cuisine served in a fun and lively setting. With these exciting new dishes, Chef Tomlin is here to make sure you experience the true taste of the Caribbean!
