UAE Announces Major Visa Change For Indians

The UAE has just made it easier for Indian nationals to visit the country, offering visa-on-arrival services to a larger group of people. Previously, only Indian nationals holding residence visas for the US, UK, or EU countries were eligible for visa-on-arrival in the UAE. Come with me, and I’ll tell you all the important details you need to know.

How To Be Eligible For Visa-On-Arrival

To qualify for this visa-on-arrival, Indian nationals must ensure that their tourist visas for either US, UK or the EU and passport are both valid for at least six months from the date of entry into UAE.

Visa Options & Fees

Indian travellers who meet the criteria can now apply for a 60-day visa for AED 250. This extended stay option makes it easier for travellers to spend more time exploring the UAE or handling business matters. For those looking for a shorter stay, the UAE offers a 14-day entry visa priced at AED 100, and if visitors wish to extend their stay by an additional 14 days, they can do so for AED 250.

The UAE’s visa-on-arrival expansion not only reflects its forward-thinking approach but also its desire to continue building on its strong relationship with India. With these updated rules, planning your trip to the UAE is now easier than ever. Be sure to check your visa and passport validity before you travel, and get ready to enjoy everything the UAE has to offer!
