UAE Postpones The Vaccination Process Of Healthy Citizens To Prioritize It For The Vulnerable & Elderly

In the UAE, the vaccination process has been prioritized for the elderly and people with chronic illnesses for the next six weeks. This new, temporary plan was announced by The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) to protect the people with chronic illnesses. Since the virus can harm the vulnerable and elderly the most, it is best to vaccinate them first.

Citizens and residents falling in the above mentioned groups can visit the vaccination center nearest to them without a prior appointment. If you are someone who does not fall in any of the above mentioned categories and has received the first dose, your appointment for the second dose will be postponed for a few days.
