Who Can Benefit & What Are The Requirements?
This service is specifically designed for Emiratis who are out of the country for medical treatment, education, or other reasons. Once you’ve completed the renewal process, your new passport will be sent directly to the UAE Embassy at your location for pickup. If you’re over 15, your ID card must include both a signature and a fingerprint to process your passport renewal. Additionally, your current passport should have less than 6 months of validity remaining.
The 3-Step Passport Renewal Process
- Log In: Access your account on the UAEICP website (www.icp.gov.ae) or via their smart application using your digital ID.
- Choose the Service: Select the option to renew your passport as a citizen.
- Submit & Pay: Fill out the application, review and update any necessary details, and pay the required fees. You can then choose to have your new passport delivered either to a specified address or the UAE Embassy.
Your new passport will be issued electronically within 48 hours after your service request is accepted, provided all conditions are met.
