UAE: The 3 Person Per Car Rule Still Exists

Recently, in the UAE, many COVID-19 restrictions were either removed or changed. For example, masks are not mandatory anymore in outdoor areas, though they are compulsory at all places indoors. But the car rule in the UAE still exists.

The 3-person-per-car limit remains in effect, and offenders found breaking these rules face penalties of up to AED 3,000. Family members and domestic helpers, including 2nd relatives, are excluded from the above rule. The UAE authorities have yet to abolish this prohibition.
