As UAE Union Day approaches, Dubai is gearing up for an unforgettable celebration, complete with spectacular fireworks and a four-day weekend for many residents! Formerly known as National Day, this year’s Union Day marks the 53rd anniversary of the UAE’s formation.

When Is The Union Day Holiday?
This special public holiday on Monday, December 2, and Tuesday, December 3, promises back-to-back fireworks displays across four prime locations in Dubai: JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta, and Dubai Festival City Mall. Although the exact timings are still under wraps, the show at Dubai Festival City Mall will include its signature IMAGINE light and laser display, creating a breathtaking spectacle on the water.
Dubai’s Global Village will also light up with fireworks at 9 pm on Friday, November 29, and Saturday, December 1, joining in the Union Day festivities with its weekly displays.

But the celebrations don’t stop there. Under the #ZayedAndRashid campaign by Brand Dubai, a month-long calendar of events will unfold, featuring flag gardens, festivals, concerts, and parades.
From UAE Flag Day on November 3 to Union Day on December 2, Dubai’s spirit of unity will be on full display for all to enjoy!
