Expanding The City
Dubai’s public amenities will undergo significant improvements. The plan includes developing more than 200 parks, expanding beach cycling tracks by 300%, and extending night swimming beaches by 60%. Additionally, new women-only beaches will be designated, and plans for Dubai’s outlying areas will be comprehensive. The strategy aims to enhance the tourism appeal of several areas, create investment opportunities, and conserve natural reserves and archaeological sites.
A City Designed For Everyone
The strategy includes over 200 projects and initiatives to transform Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of cultural diversity and vibrancy in Dubai’s development journey. The goal is to elevate Dubai’s global standing in the economy, innovation, and wellbeing sectors.
Pedestrian & Cycling Tracks
Dubai will construct over 115 km of pedestrian and cycling tracks, plant more than 3,000 trees and plants, and create over 20 investment opportunities during Phase 1 of the strategy. These efforts will benefit the residents of Al Khawaneej 2 and Al Barsha 2.

Redevelopment Plans
Existing streets will be upgraded, and new facilities like shaded canopies, bike lanes, and family recreational spaces will be constructed. The vision also includes distinctive architectural gateways for each residential community, enhancing the uniqueness of each neighbourhood.
Improvements to Dubai’s beachfront areas will include upgrading various beaches, ensuring 100% accessibility for people with disabilities and the elderly, and expanding cycling tracks.
Next-Generation Parks
Dubai’s parks will undergo a transformation with new and innovative design elements. More than 30 parks with these new designs will be developed across the emirate within three years, catering to the diverse needs of the community.
Being Environmentally Conscious
The strategy includes projects to enhance well-being while maintaining environmental sustainability. These projects include monitoring aquatic environments and air pollutants, waste-to-energy conversion, and creating natural wildlife and marine reserves.
Increasing green spaces in Dubai is also a key focus of the strategy. This includes expanding public parks and squares, increasing the total green area in the emirate, and implementing sustainable irrigation projects.
